Field Measurement

Things move, without exception. How much and at what rate they move are the typical metrics used to determine the suitability of the motion. Dynamic Analysis provides field measurement services to define the motion of objects or systems. We have instrumentation and trained staff to assess the motion of almost anything, from a single small object to complete building/soil systems. These measurement capabilities are linked to our analysis capabilities which typically include Finite Element and other computer modeling techniques.

We believe that the application of the most efficient and appropriate measurement and analysis technology is essential to the provision of good engineering services. Therefore, we consider these technologies to be part of our general overhead and do not make an extra charge for their employment. Only when unusual measurement or analysis capabilities are required do these items become an extra cost.
